Fresh, waxy, crunchy.
The Rhone whites are going through a renaissance and the two main varieties in this blend (Grenache Blanc with 10% Clairette) are two of the new and fresher favourites coming out of the southern valley.
It is a waxy white with notes of beeswax and lemon, smoke, lanolin, spice and some nutty undertones. The palate is fresh, it has lemony and mineral notes with crunchy white fruits. Solid everyday white for dinners.
Pair: seafood, roast chicken, light pastas or holiday turkey feasts.
